Septemeber tidings: shopping, Robling visit.

 September Tidings:

Shane took Ashton and I to do a little Mall shopping.  While I hit the clearance racks and the dressing room - the boys hit some fashion hats. 

Shane also reports that there was a 'belly touching' incident of a large poster in the lingerie section.

And then ended up at the 'kid trap' area where the quarter eating riding machines entice young children to stay and never leave.

I picked up a few new shirts!  Hooray!

Then a few days later Robling came to visit on his way back from Peru.  It was a super quick visit, but we LOVED having him here.  And the boys were super glad to have company to impress!

We spend most of his visit in Cedar City to do some reminiscing, as he'd not been back since graduation.  FUN for us! 

 We had lunch at Market Grill in Cedar City - a FAVORITE eating establishment.

 It was raining cats and dogs when we got there, but we still found this creepy Hollywood video branding outside of a farmers market?

 His 1st Cedar Apartment (incidentally, the same one where Travis Barney used to live)

The house where we lived: the girls in the downstairs, the guys upstairs -it's been updated ever so nicely, but we think that Alex's rose bushes are still there in front.)



His last Cedar Apartment still sporting the air conditioning unit Alex in there 11 years ago.

 Upper campus, with the old buildings - the rain stopped just long enough for walking tour.

 Later that night, back in St. George, we visited Holly and Joe!  (The little boys were SO rowdy and cute!)

 After Rob left, we kept his "Garbage" weather for several more days.  But shortly after he left we got this surprise on our doorstep, addressed to 'Casa de Petty.'

 And inside was the cutest note and the sweetest little treats!  We were THRILLED to get them!
