Things From the past Month

Because I have been a bit preoccupied, here are some things to updated on:

1. Nathan being stuck out on the deck and yelling "Ayúdeme! Ayúdeme!" through the glass window. (And they say you don't learn from watching TV, hello Diego!)

2. "Unlucky Cinderella" being preformed at the Fremont County Grand Opening. Holly was a fantastic Cinderella. I was prince Charming. This woman can pull off a moustache like you wouldn't believe, so I've heard.

3. SNOW! Wonderful SNOW! And the AWESOME snow run from the pool down to the Wilsons Fence line. Goood tiiiimes. Thanks Husband...I giggled everytime I zoomed down that slope.

4. Nathan's Swim Lessons and his exuberant "DID YOU SEE THAT!" to Maddy when he went under water.

5. Shane cooking surprise dinners for us this month! What a treat!

6. Nathan's croup and tonight's "return of the fever/vomit/flu." Why is he always sick?! WHY Throw-up?? " I'm sorry Momma, I throw-up on favorite blanket." "I'm so sorry."

7. Nathan's dinner conversation. "You like that Daddy?" "Mmm, mine is good too." "It tastes just right."

There's more, but my time is up for the evening. I hope to be able to resume a more consistant update pattern!

The Sting

One sunny day in February 2009, a mother worked on the endless cycle of dishes. She could hear her wee one near the sunny back door, thumping lightly on the glass. When, with no advance warning, there was a terrible screech and cry ringing across the house. The Wailing child came running with one finger in the air proclaiming "It stings! It stung me! It stings!" Indeed the wasp had stung. But then if you were offered an enthusiastic, willing finger, you would sting too! With a little bit of "after bite" and some hugs and a truck the sting soon came to be a rather exciting story. However, a lesson was learned, and flying things now could be "stinging" types and the wee one now enjoys having mommy "Kiw ((kill)) It" for him.

He had to go.

Our Little Jasper moved to a new home. One where he will be loved and not cause allergies. It appears that only outdoor dogs will do for the Petty family. However, we know Jasper was loved while he was here, and we know he went to a good home where Cavalier's are cherished.
