New Bed, New Car

We finally decided it was time to downgrade Nathans bed.  I put it on the St. George Yardsale and it did nothing for several weeks.  Then, one day BAM!  Someone was interested.  She'd actually put the picture of the exact bed in the ISO area.  So I contacted her, she looked at it and the next day it was gone!

The large unit that was too tall for our ceilings.  Cool? Yes.  Claustrophobic? BIG YES.

Later on the same sight I found a bed frame for $10.  And then we purchased a new box spring for it for $65.  Hooray! By Monday, it's a whole new bedroom for Nathan, and he's been in it every night since we made the switch!  (Excluding the nights we were at Legoland.)

We've also had our Armada on KSL for several months.  I was getting all ready and planned out for Legoland, when again, BAM! Someone was interested.  They looked at it Monday night - and bought it the next morning.  (Which was Tuesday.) So we got up, detailed it and sold it by 10:00. We were due in California on Wednesday.

We took the little Nissan car out looking for new cars, though we figured we just end up renting a minivan for our trip, but by 3:00 we drove home our new (to us) Subaru Forrester.  Those sales, and purchases were little Whirlwinds of activity!!

And, as planned, we were on the road to LEGOLAND, California the next morning bright and early!
