Here's a lovely bit of produce from the grape vine!
The red grapes grew much larger than the green, though both were very sweet!
1st day of 1st grade
Took him to the bus stop, where he greeted neighborhood friends - and off he went! Like a Champ! When I finally retrieved him in the afternoon - later than he should've been due to a bus schedule mix-up - he was all smiles and glowing with joyous reports of the 1st day!
Shane was sweet enough to give him a father's blessing the night before his 1st day. It was very thoughtful of Nathan and his tender feelings. Then, for added measure, Ashton got a blessing too -shorter but nice that he wasn't left out. After Ashton's blessing N.Q. replied, "You should have blessed him to poop in a toilet." We all got the giggles after that. One day. One day.
With Austin, Nathan's neighbor friend also going to 1st grade. They aren't in the same class this year either, maybe next year.
Sunday: wiggly teeth
Wednesday: no teeth!
So - This is the 2nd video, the 1st show him with one tooth gone, but I just put this one in - because it shows the whole effect. Perhaps I'll get the other on in later, but they take SO DARN LONG to upload! I LOVE the look of Ashton's traumatized little face at the end of this. Rest assured that he recovers quickly.
